A second-term member of Rodney Local Board Louise Johnston has successfully delivered footpaths and a new bus service for the area. Louise has worked on the Master Plan for Green Road so it can become a community park, been a representative on the Waste Political Advisory Group, and fought for the effective monitoring and enforcement of regulations championing the Local Board’s Compliance Ambassador programme.
She is a Chartered Accountant by profession and lives on a lifestyle block in Dairy Flat with her husband and two teenage children. A hardworking Local Board member she has worked to communicate the rapid changes to the community.
Louise sees the massive residential growth in Milldale and Dairy Flat as being the biggest challenges facing the community over the next few years. She will continue her push for better public transport, safer roads, and infrastructure to meet the demands of a growing community. |
